Local Prosperity is a conference and festival hosted by three organizations: Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia, North Shore Community Connections Society, and Centre for Local Prosperity. We are coming together to host this event in Tatamagouche, to explore how communities are working to keep wealth rooted locally and gain control over their local economies. Tatamagouche is the traditional and unceded lands and waters of the Mi’kmaq, which has been a historical and contemporary sacred gathering place for the Mi’kmaq since time immemorial.
