- Title: Festival Organizer
- Pay: $20/hr
- Start date: June 15, 2026 (for 9 weeks)
- Location: Hybrid remote + in-person in Tatamagouche, NS
- Mandatory dates: Applicants must be available in person in Tatamagouche from August 5-10, 2026

- A mix of formats: panel discussions, breakout sessions, storytelling circles, etc.
- Focus will be on grassroots efforts to re-localize economies along the various key economic themes (food, housing, energy, arts, culture, tourism, investment, transportation, climate, land, etc.)
Up!Skilling Session HOSTS
We’re looking for more Up!Skilling session hosts – with a preference for folks local to the North Shore / Colchester areas. To find more information or apply, click here! Pitch us any idea you have!
Up!Skilling (coined by Transition Bay St. Margaret’s) sessions are skill shares/exchanges of hands-on, household-level crafts, trades and skills. They are ~50 minute sessions intended to give participants a chance to ‘dip their toes’ into a new skill.
Examples include but are not limited to: seed saving, cycle repair, yarn spinning, soil amendments, straw hat weaving, beekeeping, mending & darning, food preservation, and so much more!

We’re interested in solo musicians, buskers, bands, youth performances, plays, seniors groups, poetry readings, theatre troupes, and more!
VOLUNTEERS
We’re looking for local (Tatamagouche, North Shore & surrounding areas) volunteers to join the Local Prosperity 2026 team during the lead-up to the festival, for set-up/tear-down, and during the event!
